This map shows Second World War related sites in and around Thirsk and Northallerton. This includes plane crashes, civil defence sites and Commonwealth War Graves.
The area coverers the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors to the east, across to an imaginary line between Thirsk and Northallerton in the west.
What is not included are the airfields of Topcliffe, Skipton-on-Swale, Scorton, Dishforth and Leeming, where large numbers of planes crashed.
